Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP)
RSSE (the only open SGIP budget): $1.10 per Wh of battery storage ($1,100 per kWh) and $3.10 per W of new solar paired with that battery. Storage-only is eligible; standalone solar is not. The incentive can cover up to the full installed cost, subject to SGIP's cost verification. Example: a 13.5 kWh battery supports up to $14,850 for an eligible low-income household. CSE may advance 50% at reservation. Market-rate customers: $0, because every ratepayer budget (General Market $0.15/Wh, Equity Resiliency $1.00/Wh) closed 2025-12-31.
SGIP's one open budget, Residential Solar and Storage Equity (RSSE), pays $1.10/Wh for home batteries and $3.10/W for paired solar for income-qualified households (80% AMI or CARE/FERA/ESA). Most funding is waitlisted. General Market and Equity Resiliency closed 2025-12-31.
