Puget Sound Energy offers up to $1,250 for duct sealing and insulation upgrades in existing single-family homes. The work must be completed by a pre-authorized PSE Trade Ally. Rebate amounts vary based on the level of sealing, insulation added, and whether the customer meets income qualifications.
Homeowner Tasks
- Hire a pre-authorized PSE Trade Ally
Only weatherization work completed by a pre-authorized PSE Trade Ally is eligible for this rebate.
- Confirm your home property type
Ensure the property where the work is being performed is an existing single-family home.
- Verify your income qualifications
If you meet specific income thresholds, you may qualify for the $1,250 Efficiency Boost tier.
Contractor Tasks
- Maintain active pre-authorized PSE Trade Ally status
You must be officially pre-authorized by PSE before performing the work and submitting the rebate.
- Perform qualifying weatherization work
Complete standard duct sealing, advanced duct sealing, or add insulation (R0 to R11) according to PSE program tiers.
- Submit the application and itemized invoices
Provide detailed invoices clearly outlining the specific duct sealing and insulation work performed on the home.
Qualification
- Has income-qualified portion
Up to $1,250 for Efficiency Boost (Advanced Duct Sealing), $1,000 for Prescriptive Duct Sealing and Insulation (R0 to R11), and $550 for Standard Duct Sealing only.

How to Submit
