Fort Collins Utilities offers rebates ranging from $150 to $7,500 for residential homeowners installing eligible solar PV or battery storage systems. To qualify, customers must participate in a mandatory project assessment with the utility to determine their specific rebate amount.

Homeowner Tasks

  • Verify utility account status

    Confirm you are an active residential customer of Fort Collins Utilities.

  • Complete utility project assessment

    Participate in the required project assessment with Fort Collins Utilities to evaluate your project.

  • Provide assessed rebate amount

    Supply the estimated rebate amount provided to you during your Fort Collins Utilities project assessment.

Contractor Tasks

  • Provide detailed equipment specifications

    Submit full equipment specifications for the solar PV system, battery storage system, or combined system being installed.

A project assessment with Fort Collins Utilities is strictly required; failure to complete this will disqualify you from receiving the rebate.
Eligible system types include Solar PV Systems, Battery Storage Systems, or a combination of both.
Further assessment may be required by the utility to determine specific final rebate amounts and application steps.
