Cascade Natural Gas offers a $1,000 rebate to residential customers who install a high-efficiency tankless natural gas water heater. Eligible units must have a Uniform Energy Factor (UEF) of 0.95 or higher and be installed by a licensed contractor in Washington State.

Homeowner Tasks

  • Complete the claim form

    Fill out and sign the required rebate claim form with your active account details.

Contractor Tasks

  • Install eligible equipment

    Install a tankless natural gas water heater with a minimum Uniform Energy Factor (UEF) rating of 0.95.

  • Provide a detailed invoice

    Generate a final contractor invoice that clearly lists the installed unit's model number and UEF rating.

  • Submit the application package

    Submit the completed claim form and the detailed contractor invoice within 90 days of the installation date.

Strict Deadline: The completed claim form and contractor invoice must be submitted within 90 days of the installation.
The incentive program ends on December 31, 2027.
To prevent application delays, double-check that the UEF rating of 0.95 or higher is explicitly printed on the final invoice.
